Video From Ask The Trucker: Tony “The Truck Stop” Tiger Revisited   2 comments

From Allen Smith: Watch this compelling video about Tony The Truck Stop Tiger as Donna and I visited him last week in La. Thin, tired and eating grass, this Tiger deserves much better. Tony’s permit is up in December Please write the Louisiana Wildlife and tell them to not renew his permit and allow Tony to spend his last few years in the Tampa Big Cat Rescue.

From FTTT: Thank you Allen and Donna for this great video you did for Tony. Tony has suffered for 10 years in this unhealthy and unnatural environment and needs to be relocated to an accredited big cat sanctuary immediately. LDWF: What is paramount in this case and should be your priority: Tony’s health, welfare and LIFE. If you decide to renew your permit to Tiger Truck Stop – you condemn Tony to another year of suffering. Put an end to this sad, abusive, unacceptable situation and allow Tony to have the care, home, peace and respect he deserves.

Very Important!  The video and an eyewitness statement are being sent to all the appropriate authorities, individuals and organizations.

You can also Take Action For Tony! Express your concerns for Tony’s health, welfare and life to the LDWF, Louisiana elected officials, etc. in this post. Include the video and Ask The Trucker link:

  1. Please do not allow permit to be renewed!! Please help Tony, a “wild” animal be allowed to live out the rest of his life in a sancturary somewhere, where he can have some interaction with other big cats and have the proper care and diet. This is not natural and permits for this kind of thing should be outlawed!

    Please, won’t you help??

    Constance Michaels
  2. I have sent emails and will send an email to everyone listed above as well as the tv stations and newspapers. Tony needs us.
