An animal protection group’s motion to revoke a Louisiana truck stop’s current permit to keep and exhibit Tony the tiger will not be heard by a judge today as previously scheduled, due to a request by the state’s wildlife agency to postpone the hearing indefinitely.

This state’s wildlife agency have acted totally disgracefully – this poor tiger has been stuck in this cage for years and here is a chance to get him out and this agency stop it in its tracks, get rid of this agency, they are not acting in the animals interests whatsoever. I am so sad for poor Tony the tiger, he should have been given release today by the judge. The laws need changing in the USA to stop this happening ever again.
