This is a recent video of Tony courtesy of “Cloversweed.” The video can be viewed on Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuW8SVxMk5c You will note in the video that Tony’s “den” has been painted gold and purple – but this in no way detracts from the fact that a truck stop is an unacceptable, inhumane and unhealthy environment for a tiger or any animal. Tony has been subjected to this detrimental environment as well as inadequate care for over a decade. Three tigers were removed from the truck stop in 2003 by the USDA because of violations of the AWA. Accredited humane big cat sanctuaries can provide Tony with a natural spacious habitat of earth, grass, trees, logs, a den, a suitable pool, proper diet and medical care, enrichment and the respect he deserves. Tigers are not gimmicks, attractions, props or pets. They are magnificent cats who deserve our respect and protection.
