ALDF: “We would like nothing more than for Tony to go to an accredited sanctuary immediately.”   2 comments

This reference to Tony from The Animal Legal Defense Fund on their Facebook page under the post: It’s Time To Ban Research on Chimpanzees:

“We would like nothing more than for Tony to go to an accredited sanctuary immediately. Unfortunately, the legal system does not always move as quickly as we would like it to, but rest assured we are doing everything we can to get Tony out as soon as possible.”

Note: Please also take action for chimpanzees TODAY:

  1. Thank you ALDF for giving a voice to Tony! It is devestating that no one had done so before this! I am so sad for Tony and I agree that his owner should be put in a small cage, left in all weather conditions, without any family or friends, only to have ten years of strange people poking at him. It blows my mind and breaks my heart that no other visitor, trucker, cashier, delivery man, etc. at this truck stop ever thought that this was wrong? How could no one speak up for Tony! Also a BIG thank you to the judge who ruled in favor of Tony!

  2. Yes, Tony the Great Tiger needs to be released to a reputable animal sanctuary!
