Rob Laidlaw’s Saving Lives and Changing Hearts: Animal Sanctuaries and Rescue Centers   1 comment

rl 4Rob Laidlaw’s newest animal protection book is “Saving Lives and Changing Hearts: Animal Sanctuaries and Rescue Centers.” It focuses on animal rescues and the sanctuaries that provide homes for these animals; it also explains what a true sanctuary is as opposed to those who pose as such.

I received “Saving Lives and Changing Hearts: Animal Sanctuaries and Rescue Centers” in a shipment of books at the library I work at last week and was very excited to read it having been familiar with Rob’s previous books:

“No Shelter Here, Making The World A Kinder Place for Dogs”
“On Parade, The Hidden World of Animals in Entertainment”
“Wild Animals in Captivity”

I flipped through the pages and to my great surprise a “very special tiger” { TONY } has a feature page, including ALDF’s fight to relocate him to a reputable sanctuary. I thanked Rob for including Tony in his book and for bringing Tony’s story to young readers.
